Norman Powell from the Toronto Raptors. The Lincoln high graduate averaged 22 points per game in February to help lead the Raptors to a 9 -4 record on the month and stay in contention for an NBA playoff spot.
Sam Carrack The San Diego Gull had an outstanding February and finished the month ranked amongst the top of the team in every statistical category. He Helped lead the Gulls to a 7 – 4 record in thier first month back on the ice this season.
Amateur:
McKenna Marshall –The USF women’s volleyball player McKenna Marshall, a Ramona high graduate, had a team high 62 kills in only 5 February matches for USF.
Kaden Anderson – The PLNU junior forward averaged 20 points while shooting .556 percent from the field, .500 percent from 3-point range and .950 percent from the free throw line. He also averaged 6.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.2 steals. He capped off the month with a 37-point performance against Azusa Pacific as he went 14-of-20 from the field and 6-of-7 from behind the arc. That matched the Sea Lion record for the most points by a student-athlete since PLNU joined NCAA Division II.
