SUPPORTING YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SPORTS –

Per our mission, the SDSA continues to support deserving and underserved youth in the San Diego community.  Once students return to campus, the SDSA’s SAFE Program (Student-Athletes Furthering Education) will continue to provide deserving middle school student-athletes with rare learning opportunities.  The SAFE Program (formerly Sheriff’s Champions Camps) provides underserved middle-school students with a snapshot of college life by bringing them on local campuses to hear from college administrators, coaches and athletes before watching a collegiate sporting event first-hand. The learning experience is provided monthly during the school year.
